Yacht survey reports, from the deck

Most inspection apps are generic checklists with a marine skin. yachtscanr is built around how a yacht survey actually runs: component by component, with the standard that governs that item on the card, photos and notes on the same screen, then a client-ready survey report when you compile.

Work offline in the yard or the bilge. Sync when you have a signal. Share a secure link — the owner does not need an account. Your clients stay yours: nothing here routes your work, takes a cut of it, or sells your contacts on.

Survey-first

Condition and pre-purchase workflows, not a re-skinned building inspector

Report-ready

Findings flow into a branded PDF or Word survey report

Works offline

Inspect on iPad with no signal — it syncs when you reconnect

Standards on the card

ISO, ABYC, MCA and IIMS practice cited where they actually apply

Built for marine surveyors, anywhere they work

Yacht surveyors worldwide are welcome — UK, Europe, North America, Australia, the Middle East, and anywhere else you inspect small craft.

Why invitation only

yachtscanr is new. Accounts go out by hand to a small number of practising marine surveyors, and nobody is charged during the invitation period. The founder is applying for the IIMS diploma (October intake) and will use that study, and conversations with working surveyors, to put the software on real boats — not to claim IIMS membership or an IIMS endorsement.

If you carry out yacht surveys and will say where the checklist, the regulation on the card, or the report is wrong, ask for an account.

No charge during the invitation period.
